       Despite the advantages that online programs provide, numerous challenges are faced.  Universities need to adapt to the needs of the student population, consider the unique social needs of each generation, technology available to foster good study habits and connections, and build a shared sense of community. One way to accomplish this is to provide mandatory online orientation programs and continued support services.
